Position Summary
The company is seeking a skilled, detail-oriented Cabinet Maker to join its growing team of artisans. The ideal candidate is passionate about high-quality craftsmanship, experienced in custom cabinetry, and capable of turning design concepts into beautiful, functional finished products. This is a hands-on shop role focused on crafting custom cabinets, specialty millwork, and unique one-off pieces for upscale residential projects.
Key Responsibilities
Cabinet Fabrication & Assembly
• Build custom cabinetry, furniture pieces, and millwork based on shop drawings and specifications.
• Perform precise assembly, joinery, sanding, and finishing to meet high craftsmanship standards.
• Operate woodworking tools including table saws, planers, jointers, routers, sanders, and clamps.
• Prepare, cut, and assemble doors, drawers, frames, panels, and interior components.
Qualifications
Required
• 2–5+ years of experience in cabinet making, woodworking, finish carpentry, or a related trade.
• Proficiency with woodworking machinery, power tools, and hand tools.
• Strong understanding of joinery, cabinetry construction, and woodworking techniques.
• Ability to read and interpret CAD drawings, blueprints, and cut lists.
• High attention to detail and commitment to craftsmanship.
Preferred
• Experience in custom cabinetry (beyond production environments).
• Familiarity with edge banders, finishing equipment, and shop workflow.
• Ability to lift 50+ lbs and stand for extended periods.
• Ability to provide basic hand tools and additional tools as needed.
