MIG & TIG Welders (Temp-to-Hire)

Our client, a metal fabrication company in Ontario, California, is seeking 1 MIG Welder and 1 TIG Welder for temp to hire opportunities.

Resume and interview is required.

Schedule: Monday–Friday, 7:00 AM – 3:30 PM

Pay Rate: $19–$25 per hour

Up to $25/hr for experienced welders

Language Requirement: Must speak English

MIG Welder Core Responsibilities

• Set up and operate MIG welding equipment
• Read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings
• Prepare materials (cleaning, cutting, positioning)
• Weld metal components using proper MIG techniques
• Inspect welds for quality and structural integrity
• Maintain welding tools and equipment
• Follow all safety procedures and wear required PPETIG

Welder Core Responsibilities

• Set up and operate TIG welding equipment
• Select correct tungsten electrodes, filler materials, and shielding gases
• Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and welding symbols
• Prepare metal surfaces (cleaning, grinding, fitting)Perform high-precision welds on thin materials
• Inspect welds for accuracy, strength, and appearance
• Maintain and calibrate welding tools
• Follow strict safety standards

Required Skills

• Advanced precision and hand-eye coordination

• Strong understanding of heat control and metal behavior

• Ability to weld thin materials such as aluminum and stainless steel

• Blueprint reading and technical interpretation

• High attention to detail and craftsmanship

• Knowledge of welding safety practices

• ABLE TO LIFT UP TO 50LBS

Education & Training

• High school diploma or equivalent

• Welding certification or trade school training

• Specialized TIG/MIG welding courses or apprenticeships

• AWS or similar certifications are a plus
