Shipping, Receiving & Order Fulfillment Associate

Location: Bloomington, MN
Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8:30 AM – 5:00 PM
Pay: $20.00–$24.00/hour (DOE)
Employment Type: Full-Time

Position Summary

The Shipping, Receiving & Order Fulfillment Associate plays a key role in supporting daily warehouse operations by ensuring accurate and timely handling of inbound and outbound shipments. This position is responsible for maintaining inventory accuracy within an ERP system while performing essential warehouse functions including receiving, picking, packing, shipping, and general logistics support.

This role is ideal for a detail-oriented individual who thrives in a fast-paced warehouse environment and takes pride in accuracy, organization, and teamwork.

Key Responsibilities

Shipping & Order Fulfillment

Pick, pack, and ship small-parcel and freight orders according to accuracy and quality standards
Prepare shipping documents and labels
Load and unload trucks safely and efficiently
Operate forklifts and other warehouse equipment as needed
Communicate with domestic and international customers regarding order and shipment status

Receiving

Receive, inspect, and verify incoming shipments against purchase orders
Process delivered goods accurately and in a timely manner
Verify returned items against RGA documentation
Report discrepancies or damaged materials promptly

Inventory & ERP Management

Receive and document incoming inventory using an ERP system (Sage 100 preferred)
Complete inventory transactions such as transfers, adjustments, and product completions
Maintain accurate inventory records and monitor supply levels
Perform precise data entry to support reliable inventory reporting

General Warehouse Support

Maintain a clean, organized, and safe warehouse environment
Assist with additional warehouse tasks as needed
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support operational needs

Qualifications

Prior experience in shipping, receiving, warehousing, or order fulfillment
ERP system experience preferred (Sage 100 a plus)
Forklift certification or ability to obtain certification
Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
Effective written and verbal communication abilities
Ability to work independently and collaboratively
Strong problem-solving and task-prioritization skills

Education & Physical Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent required
Ability to lift up to 50 lbs unassisted
Ability to stand, bend, and perform physically active work throughout the shift
Ability to operate warehouse equipment safely and in compliance with safety standards

Work Environment

Onsite, active warehouse setting
Physical labor required
