Job Opening: Press Brake Operator
Description
PRESS BRAKE OPERATOR
Dayshift 7am to 3:30pm $18.50
Duties and responsibilities:
- Set up and operate hydraulic press brake
- Understand dimensions, tolerances and angles of formed part
- Calculate bend locations, appropriate tonnage and tooling for each part
- Verify all parts are present and correctly formed to specs
- Organize work area before and after parts are processed
- stack completed parts properly on tables or pallets
- Update production board with status of orders throughout the day
- Detect equipment malfunctions or out of tolerance machining and adjust machine with in capabilities.
- Report all machine malfunctions to management.
Requirements:
- One year of press brake experience
- Ability to perform basic math questions accurately
- Ability to apply concepts such as fractions, percentages, ratios and proportions to practical situations
- Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts and draw valid conclusions
- Ability to multi task, work in a fast paced environment
- Ability to stand and walk through out the entire shift of 8 to 10 hours
- Ability to lift 50 lbs when required multiple times through out the work day
