Job Title: Material Handler

Location: Grand Rapids, MI

Pay: $18.25/Hr.

Night Shift: Sunday – Thursday (11:00pm – 7:00am)

Job Summary:

We are currently seeking a reliable, safety-conscious Material Handler / PIT Operator to join our warehouse team. This role is critical to maintaining efficient warehouse operations by ensuring the accurate and timely movement, storage, and delivery of materials. The ideal candidate will have experience operating forklifts and other material-handling equipment while supporting production, inventory, and shipping activities.

Key Responsibilities

• Safely and efficiently operate forklifts and other powered industrial trucks to move, stack, and organize materials.
• Load and unload trailers, pallets, and containers.
• Perform routine equipment inspections and report any maintenance or safety concerns.
• Follow all safety regulations and maintain a clean, organized work environment.
• Assist with inventory control and ensure accurate documentation.
• Communicate effectively with team members and supervisors to support smooth daily operations.

Requirements:

• Previous Forklift experience preferred
• Valid forklift certification 
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs 
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy
• Reliable attendance and punctuality
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
