TIG welders needed in the Geneva area!

1st and 2nd shift starting at $24 per hour based on experience.

Monday to Friday

6am to 2:30 pm

2pm to 10:30 pm

Job Duties/Responsibilities may include, but are not limited to:  

·      Perform high-quality TIG welding on a variety of steel parts and assemblies according to specifications.

·      Execute layout welding without the use of templates, using blueprints, measuring tools, and layout marks to determine accurate fit-up.

·      Operate orbital welding equipment to perform precise welds on round or tubular steel components (as applicable).

·      Conduct tack welding to secure parts in place before final welding or assembly.

·      Interpret and follow blueprints, weld symbols, and technical drawings to plan weld sequences and joint designs.

·      Set up, adjust, and maintain TIG welding equipment for optimal performance and quality.

·      Visually and dimensionally inspect welds for defects, ensuring adherence to internal quality standards and tolerances.

·      Follow all safety guidelines and PPE requirements, maintaining a clean and hazard-free work area.

·      Collaborate with team members and supervisors to identify and resolve issues that may affect production or quality.

·      Follows all Alfagomma’s safety programs and requirements.

·      Adheres to production schedule.

·      Reads, assembles, and welds from blueprints.

·      Prepares, assembles, and tacks weld parts and surfaces to be welded.

·      Monitors the welding, burning, and fitting process to ensure parts are not overheated or damaged by warping, distortion, expansion, or shrinkage.

Job Requirements:

Tig and spot welding experience required.

2ND SHIFT: $20.50- $22 4pm-12:30am

Job Duties: 

• Operates a forklift to move, load, and unload materials.
• Pick and Stage orders for processing.
• Responsible for safely transporting products and stacking pallets.
• Performs equipment inspections, follows safety procedures, and maintains a clean work area.
• Assist with general warehouse duties as needed.
