Equipment Maintenance Technician Job Duties:

• Performs routine set up, operation, minor and major routine maintenance, preventative maintenance (PM) and troubleshooting for the AutoPak area.
• Performs routine set up, operation, minor and major routine maintenance, preventative maintenance (PM) and troubleshooting of highly complex/automated manufacturing equipment. Controls and adjusts machine settings for AutoPak equipment.
• Perform mechanical, pneumatic and electrical maintenance (including preventive) repairs, adjustments, inspection and monitoring of production and/or facilities related equipment and machinery.
• Works within standards and operating procedures to plan, perform, and make decisions regarding the set up and operations of a variety of production equipment, including automated machine processes and controls to perform routine assembly-line production functions of filling, packing, assembling, labeling and inspecting
• May perform clean up functions in sterilized areas and evaluate charts, follows simple diagrams, testing, and inspecting procedures.
• Ensures accurate documentation of all relevant quality, safety, and maintenance documents. Identifies, troubleshoots, and resolves complex issues associated with the machine performance and/or product quality.
• Demonstrate mechanical, electrical, hydraulics and pneumatics aptitude.
  
  Additional experience PREFERRED:
  Troubleshooting of Industrial Control Systems (instrumentation, ladder logic, relay logic, vfd, servo etc.)
  Demonstrated knowledge and proficiency of PLC operations, robotics, and vision systems.
  Mechanical design (AutoCad, Solidworks, etc.)
  SAP maintenance module or equivalent computerized system (welding)
  Basic skills in use of mill, lathe, welding, bearing press
