Sit-Down Clamp Truck Operators needed for distribution warehouse located in Aberdeen, MD

shift:

2nd shift: Monday to Friday 4pm to 12:30am, $20.50/hr

Clamp Truck Operator Job Duties:

• Operate Sit Down Clamp Truck, Must have at least 6 months forklift experience, (will not train to learn how to begin to operate a forklift)
• Handle all appliances that you could have in your house such as: Refrigerator, AC Unit, Microwave etc,
• All product is packaged with thin plastic or cardboard so our operator needs to be very careful due to how delicate the product will be
• Must pick product up from the bottom not the top
• By using an RF Scan Gun or mounted computer screen, our associate will put away and they will also pull product and then stage it to go out

$18 per hour

Warehouse Associate Job Duties:

• Taking boxes off of the conveyor belt, scan the box and then put the box onto a pallet
• Put cardboard boxes together, then place the box onto the conveyor belt, tape the box and then put the box onto a rolling cart
• Go down the open isles with a rolling cart, by using voice to pick, our associates will pick boxed product on floor level and then put that box onto the cart
• Use of manual pallet jack

Job Requirements:

• 3 months recent experience working in a distribution center or warehouse a plus
• Able to work 10 or 12 hours shifts
• Able to carry, twist, push, pull products and lift up to 50 lbs
• Able to stand, walk and bend for the entire shift
• Experience working with technology – RF scanners, warehouse computers a plus
• Able to follow written and verbal work instructions
• Able to count accurately

Forklift Operator Job Duties:

• Using Equipment: All Raymond, Reach Truck, Clamp Truck, Electric Pallet Jack and Pacer (forklift with smaller forks)
• RF Scan Gun & Voice to Pick
• Outbound- picking orders
• Associates will be trained by moving around boxes on the equipment so that you can get comfortable using an EPJ, our associate will move product to be shipped out onto the dock
• Most bulk items will be picked by a clamp truck
• Ship Ready- by using an RF Scan Gun and an EPJ, our associates will pull and pack those items to be shipped out
