Packaging Operator - Form, Fill & Seal

Job description:

• Read gauges to troubleshoot machines

• Replace packaging material as needed

• Keep logs of machine operation and maintenance

• May perform some manual general duties around the warehouse

• Moving product and packaging which includes light lifting, bending, and stooping throughout the day.

• Working in a fast-paced production environment

• Moving 50-pound bags filled with plastic pellets as needed

Schedule: 6 a.m. to 6 p.m., and 6pm to 6am. Available for rotation shifts. Monday - Friday; be available Saturdays

Pay Rate: $17.00 an hour - Paid weekly! Experience will be considered.

Job Type: Temp to hire after 90 days upon evaluation

Experience: Packaging machine experience is a plus. FF&S experience not required.

Experienced Shipping & Receiving Forklift Operators needed in Baytown!

Job Specifics:

Skilled worker with a thorough knowledge of procedures and processes associated with supply, storage, and distribution functions in a fast-paced environment.

The candidate will be responsible for inbound orders, outbound orders, inventory management, storage and accurate documentation of packaged material from a conveyor line.

Experience Requirements:

Must have at least one year of forklift experience in shipping & receiving warehouse environment.

Job duties:

• Take packaged material from line to container

• Inspect container before loading

• Transfer heavy material to production line when needed

• Ensure all dock operations are performed in a safe matter

• Maintain a clean and organized work area and equipment

• Occasionally assist the production line with special projects

• Inspect equipment daily and frequently

Pay rate: $16.50/hr. Schedule: Monday-Friday (need to be available for weekends when required).7:00am - 7:00pm.

As a Customer Service Representative (CSR) you will work closely with multiple internal and external parties to ensure timely execution of customer requests. Strong communication and customer service excellence are key skills required for this position.

Responsibilities:

· Responsible for processing orders for assigned customer

· Provide accurate and timely communication to customers

· Daily follow up on open orders

· Monitor delays, interruptions and rush orders and adjust accordingly to meet deadlines

· Follow up on export and packaging planning schedule to ensure customer products are processed within the lead time requested

· Problem solving of ad hoc internal and external issues

· Improving efficiency of processes from a quality, cost and timing perspective

· Participating to prepare KPI’s and stock analysis

· Act as a backup for colleagues when needed

· Keep close and transparent communication with all teams on daily basis

· Active participation in weekly internal and external meetings

· Participate in any training required

· Adhere to all work and safety rules

Reach Truck Operators needed for Baytown

• Required to have experience operating a High Reach Forklift.
• Work in warehouse that utilizes high standing warehouse bins.
• Product is stacked on pallets. Will be required to slot pallets into the bins at high levels.
• Must be able to operate in a safe manner as expected from client.
• Help in other areas and responsibilities as needed.
• Schedule - Monday to Friday Shift - 6am to 5pm.
