NOW HIRING 2nd Shift TIG Welders in the Batavia area 

2nd SHIFT 2:00 PM - 10:30 PM $24

Job duties :

•     Perform high-quality TIG welding on a variety of steel parts and assemblies according to specifications.

•     Execute layout welding without the use of templates, using blueprints, measuring tools, and layout marks to determine accurate fit-up.

•     Operate orbital welding equipment to perform precise welds on round or tubular steel components (as applicable).

•     Conduct tack welding to secure parts in place before final welding or assembly.

•     Interpret and follow blueprints, weld symbols, and technical drawings to plan weld sequences and joint designs.

•     Set up, adjust, and maintain TIG welding equipment for optimal performance and quality.

•     Visually and dimensionally inspect welds for defects, ensuring adherence to internal quality standards and tolerances.

•     Follow all safety guidelines and PPE requirements, maintaining a clean and hazard-free work area.

•     Collaborate with team members and supervisors to identify and resolve issues that may affect production or quality.

•     Follows all Alfagomma’s safety programs and requirements.

•     Adheres to production schedule.

•     Reads, assembles, and welds from blueprints.

•     Prepares, assembles, and tacks weld parts and surfaces to be welded.

•     Monitors the welding, burning, and fitting process to ensure parts are not overheated or damaged by warping, distortion, expansion, or shrinkage.

Job Requirements:

• Tig and spot welding experience required.

Immediate Openings for Forklift Operators in South Rockford Area-Multiple Shifts

• 3rd shift: Monday to Friday 10pm to 6:30 am - $21.50
• Weekend shift: Friday to Sunday - 6am to 6pm $22
• Weekend Nights: Friday to Sunday - 6am to 6pm $22.25

This position requires that the person be able to perform regular activities utilizing specific equipment for the tasks in various departments.

• Safely operate Powered Industrial equipment to move products or materials for distribution.
• Pick, pack, wrap, Load, unload, and store products and/or materials.
• Stack and/or transport materials and products to designated areas.
• Use equipment to scan product and print labels.
• Complete paperwork and operate inventory management systems as needed.
• Ensure product rotation procedures are followed, and complete cycle counts as required.
• Perform daily safely inspections per the Safety Checklist on forklift trucks
• Ensure facility is inspection ready at all times based on customer needs and Communicate and report any incidents to supervisor.
• Perform daily housekeeping duties Ability to communicate in a professional and courteous manner with co-workers and management.

Ability to comprehend and perform company policy and deadlines

Job Requirements:

• A minimum 1-year experience in a warehouse environment while operating a Reach Truck Forklift. (Deep reach a BIG PLUS). Able to work and perform all duties in a safe and competent manner
