Responsibilities

The Administrative Specialist performs support functions in multiple areas of the business. Completes, organizes, and coordinates data, information, and activities that ensure operational & financial compliance.

Duties

include Accounts Payable processes, issuing customer credit, key account reconciliation, compiling and managing information, filing, data entry, answering emails and phone calls.

Daily skills needed include:

• Understanding of computer system
• Working with Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook
• Clear communication via emails
• Scanning paperwork into a database system

• Utilize a warehouse management system to maintain appropriate work documents What you need to succeed at GXO: At a minimum, you’ll need:

• Experience with Microsoft Office

• Availability to work a flexible schedule with possible overtime, as needed It’d be great if you also have:

• High school diploma or equivalent

• 1 year of experience in warehouse operations and/or with inventory

• Ability to work independently and as a member of a team

• This job requires the ability to:

• Lift up to 30 lbs. frequently and greater than 50 lbs. occasionally

• Move materials weighing up to 500 lbs. using wheeled carts

What you’ll do on a typical day:

• Operate powered industrial lift trucks and order pickers to push, pull, lift, stack or move product, equipment and materials

• Use a handheld scanner with a high degree of accuracy

• Load and unload trailers as needed

• Adhere to the 7S program and maintain a clean environment at all times

What you need to succeed GXO: At a minimum, you'll need: • 1 year of warehouse experience • Trained and certified in the safe operation of powered industrial lift trucks • Availability to work a flexible schedule, with possible overtime when needed This job requires the ability to: • Lift 50 lbs. frequently and greater than 75 lbs. occasionally • Lift objects of various shapes, sizes and weights • Bend, stoop, squat, twist, push and pull • Stand, sit or walk for long periods of time • Use hands and fingers to handle or feel tools or equipment • Tolerate hot or cold warehouse environments It'd be great if you also have: • Positive attitude and the ability to work well in a team environment • Ability to communicate well with leadership and peers • High school diploma or equivalent
