Job Summary

We are seeking a dependable Stand-Up Forklift Operator to support shipping and receiving operations in a warehouse environment. Under general supervision, this role performs both manual and clerical tasks related to the movement, documentation, and inspection of materials, supplies, and finished products.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform shipping and receiving duties for materials, supplies, equipment, and finished goods
• Receive shipments, verify items against shipping records, and inspect condition
• Gather, verify, and pack items for shipment according to specifications and transportation requirements
• Accurately record received and shipped items following established procedures
• Route materials to inspection or designated stock areas
• Complete written and computerized documentation
• Operate powered equipment such as stand-up forklift and hydraulic jack lift
• Follow all safety guidelines and warehouse procedures

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent combination of education and experience
• Minimum of 1 year of related warehouse or shipping/receiving experience
• Forklift certification preferred
• Knowledge of standard shipping and receiving procedures
• Basic reading, writing, and numerical skills
• Valid driver’s license with a good driving record may be required
• Ability to operate powered warehouse equipment safely

Job Summary
