Job Summary
We are currently seeking a dependable and detail-oriented Shipping & Receiving Clerk to join our warehouse team in Torrance, CA. This is a great opportunity for candidates with warehouse, shipping, and inventory experience who are looking for stable employment, competitive pay, and benefits.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities

Order Picking & Replenishment
- Release sales orders and replenishment pick tickets
- Compare location numbers, article numbers, and quantities on pick tickets with shelf locations and product labels
- Ensure batches are picked in proper sequence and with 100% accuracy
Storage & Inventory
- Verify location numbers from storage tickets and shelf locations
- Ensure accuracy of all stored and retrieved items
- Consolidate orders from the Storage & Retrieval area
Packing & Shipping
- Use Oracle Telnet to confirm, pack, and process orders
- Compare packing lists with product labels (not pick tickets)
- Count items to ensure correct quantities are shipped
- Pack boxes properly to prevent damage during transit
- Manifest parcel and LTL shipments
- Weigh merchandise and complete bills of lading and packing lists
- Inspect products for defects and report discrepancies to management
- Review packing lists for special customer requirements (labeling, packing, etc.)
Equipment Operation
- Operate forklift and pallet jack to move merchandise
- Assist with loading trucks and trailers
Workplace Organization & Support
- Stock workstation with appropriate boxes and packing materials
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work area
- Assist the Shipping Manager and Lead Person to ensure timely and accurate order fulfillment
Compensation & Benefits

Job Requirements:
Qualifications
- Previous shipping & receiving or warehouse experience preferred
- Forklift experience required (certification a plus)
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Basic computer skills (Oracle Telnet experience a plus)
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Reliable attendance and punctuality
