CAD-Capable Assembly Technician

Hiring for a 4-6 week project with potential temp-to-hire conversion. Ideal for someone who can read CAD drawings, has assembly experience, and is comfortable working both indoors and outdoors.

This role is an excellent opportunity for individuals newly out of school or recently completing an apprenticeship who are looking to build hands-on experience in a real project environment.

Position Overview

This role supports a specialized project requiring accurate interpretation of CAD files and hands-on assembly work. Candidates must be flexible between two shifts and able to work in varying environments.

Schedule & Pay:

• Shift Options: 8am–4pm or 9am–5pm (must be flexible between both)
• Pay Rate: $22–$25/hr, depending on experience
• Assignment Length: 4–6 weeks
• Potential: Temp-to-hire opportunity

Job Requirements:

Key Responsibilities:

• Read and interpret CAD drawings to understand layout, measurements, and build requirements
• Perform assembly tasks using hand tools, power tools, and project-specific equipment
• Work indoors and outdoors depending on project needs
• Follow safety procedures and maintain a clean, organized work area
• Collaborate with team members to meet daily production goals
• Ensure accuracy, quality, and compliance with project specifications

Requirements:

• Ability to read CAD files and understand technical drawings
• Previous assembly experience in manufacturing, construction, or mechanical environments
• Comfortable working inside and outside
• Reliable attendance and strong attention to detail
• Ability to lift, stand, bend, and perform physical tasks as needed
• Strong communication and teamwork skills
