Mechanical Maintenance Technician is responsible for the maintenance of manufacturing machinery and facilities related equipment.  They will engage in the repair of automated computerized machine controls, repair and maintain machines, equipment, buildings and grounds.  

Pay:  DOE

Shifts:  

• Weekends:  Fri-Sun, 5:00pm-5:00am
• 2nd:  Mon-Fri, 2:00pm-10:15pm 
• 3rd:  Mon-Fri, 10:00pm-6:15am 

Job Duties as a Mechanical Maintenance Technician:

• Makes major electrical, mechanical, and construction repairs and installation involving schematics and/or blueprint interpretation.
• Troubleshoots drive related issues to component level for Fanuc, Siemens, Allen Bradley and other brands of controllers.
• Determines root cause of failures and recommends preventive actions.
• Carries out preventative maintenance procedures autonomously
• Communicates consistently with internal team regarding status of equipment in facility.
• Advises supervisor of needs for outside services and works with service representatives on equipment and controls repair and installation. Shows competency in several crafts and performs handyman aspects in all trades.
• Constructs sketches of mechanical or construction alterations/installations and electrical circuitry.
• Prepares bills of material on jobs requiring major material use and initiates purchase requisitions. .
• Uses various material handling equipment such as hoists, carts, lifts, fork trucks and hand trucks in moving light to heavy weight material. 
• Uses a variety of lock-out/tag-out devices as required per facility LOTO Plan.

Job Requirements to be considered for a Mechanical Maintenance Technician opportunity:

• High School Diploma required or GED equivalent required.
• Degree in Industrial Maintenance Technology or equivalent preferred.
• Experience with Industrial Machinery preferred.
• Three (3) plus years of experience in Maintenance is preferred, but not required.

Hiring Machine Operators

Seeking experienced Machine Operators. These positions are performance to hire with great opportunity for growth, within a climate controlled facility.

Daily Tasks:

• Operates a press brake to manufacture tools, equipment, and other components from sheet metal or metal plates.
• Prepares, sets up, and adjusts press brake as required by product plans and production schedules.
• Inspects products, evaluating finished pieces for compliance with quality standards and specifications.
• Performs routine maintenance on Press break machine and ensures there are sufficient raw materials available. 

Shifts:

1st Shift: $17.50

2nd Shift: $19.00 

Weekend shift Friday- Sunday 5am-5pm, $18.50/hr

Job Requirements:

Must have previous machine operating experience, at least 6 months within the past year. Press Brake preferred.

Must be able to work overtime and weekends.

ProLogistix is seeking experienced material handlers in the Columbia area. These positions are performance to hire, with an increase in pay once hired on. Experience with forklifts is required for these positions- (sit down) propane and electric, Reach Truck, and Cherry Picker. WILL NOT be on a lift 100% of the day.

1st Shift: $16/hr

2nd Shift: $17.50/hr

Weekend Shift (Fri-Sun): 5:00AM-5:00PM $17/hr

Tasks: may vary by work area and work assignments may change based on business demands:

• Loading
• Unloading
• Moving material from one location to another with a forklift or manually.
• Works mostly on a computer to maintain warehouse material flow, including shipping and receiving of material
• Will be required to work on assembly line at times

Job Requirements:

Must have previous forklift experience,  3 months within the past year.

Must be able to work overtime and weekends.

Lifting up to 50 pounds continuously

Standing 8-12 hours
