Now Hiring for Machine Operators

ProLogistix is looking for experienced Machinists with previous CNC, Brake Press, Laser-Cutters or other relevant experience. This is a temp to hire position with a manufacturing company in NE Columbia.

Job duties include but not limited to:

  • Set up, program, and operate machinery specific to the manufacture of commercial HVAC units 
  • Proficiently read, analyze, and understand blueprints, work orders, and measurement
  • Positions stops or guides to specified length as indicated by blueprints, scale, rule or template.
  • Maintains fabricating equipment and makes adjustments to prepare equipment for safe and efficient operation.
  • Proficiently make measurement adjustments and calculations
  • Inspect material and product for defect 
  • Accurately measure and identify materials based on work instructions
  • Follow safety protocols and guidelines to ensure a safe working environment.
  • Maintain a clean and organized work area.

Shifts: 

1st Shift: $18.50

2nd Shift: $20.00

  • Ability to use all tools and equipment required to perform position.
  • Must be able to understand verbal and written instructions related to repairs, ask follow-up questions and communicate clearly any obstacles with meeting deadlines and/or standards.
  • Lifting up to 50 pounds.
  • Standing, bending, stooping, and climbing continuously for the length of the shift

Education and Experience Requirements:

Associates will be assembling internal electrical components and control panels for commercial HVAC units inside a large manufacturing facility.

 

What you will do:

Assemble quality products according to specific standards

Wire complex electrical components

Follow blueprints, wiring diagrams, schematics, and material lists

Adhere to all safety policies

Rotate to different workstations as needed to aid in other assembly steps as needed

 

What you will need:

Strong electrical background and/or experience in electrical assembly OR equivalent trade school experience

Ability to read and understand blueprints and schematics

Proficiency with using hand or power-tools

Work as part of a team who has the responsibility for assembling components or an entire product by following specific work instructions Associates will be assembling or fabricating components for commercial HVAC systems inside a heavy industrial manufacturing facility.

 

What you will do:

Assemble quality products according to specific standards

Work as part of a team to put together large scale components

Handle both raw and finished materials

Follow blueprints, wiring diagrams, schematics, and material lists

Operate industrial equipment as needed to move and package finished products

Work efficiently and be a self-starter

Navigate computer-based software for next steps

Effectively problem-solve and apply basic mathematic knowledge of measurements, fractions, etc.

Adhere to all safety policies

Keep all materials orderly and work areas clean

Rotate to different workstations as needed to aid in other assembly steps as needed

 

What you will need:

Prior manufacturing, construction, or heavy industrial experience OR equivalent trade school experience

Ability to read and understand blueprints and schematics

Proficiency with using hand or power-tools

Ability to be on your feet for 8-10 hours and lift up to 50 lbs independently

High School Diploma or GED
