Job Description:

• Material Handling: Operate walk-behind or ride-on electric pallet jacks to move, stack, and stage materials in designated areas.
• Loading/Unloading: Load and unload trailers efficiently, managing both full pallets and individual products.
• Order Selection: Select, pick, and prepare customer orders for shipping, often using electronic, voice-controlled systems.
• Safety & Compliance: Follow all OSHA regulations and company health/safety codes, including wearing proper safety gear.
• Equipment Inspection: Perform pre-shift inspections to ensure machinery is functional, reporting issues like hydraulic leaks or broken brakes to maintenance.

Essential Job Duties:

• Perform mechanical and electrical repairs ranging from routine to intermediate on equipment associated with warehouse distribution systems.
• Perform mechanical and electrical repairs on all DC related equipment.
• Perform equipment diagnostics and repairs of motor control systems, scanners, and building systems.
• Identify damaged or defective equipment and repair in a timely manner.
• Detect safety hazards and plan/organize smart, safe solutions.

Qualifications:

• HS degree or equivalent. Technical training/certification highly preferred.
• Two to four years related experience working in a DC environment.

• Basic computer skills, including proficiency with email, Excel and Word.
• Familiarity with DC technologies and process flow.
• Proficient in the operation and utilization of various Test & Metering equipment.

• Willingness and availability to work flexible hours as needed, including weekends and overtime.
