 Responsibilities

• Receive, process, store, and ship inventory according to purchase orders and shipping schedules
• Load outgoing orders onto trucks and organize incoming stock
• Label outgoing items accurately
• Support inbound and outbound warehouse operations
• Unload trailers manually
• Move furniture and large items using dollies and pallet jacks
• Verify outbound items match invoices before loading for delivery
• Inspect items to ensure they are free of damage or defects
• Assemble and prepare customer orders for shipment
• Use proper lifting techniques, including lifting, pushing, stooping, twisting, and bending
• Operate RF scanners to ensure accurate tracking and shipment
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe workspace
• Meet productivity and performance expectations
• Work a flexible schedule, including weekends and holidays

 Requirements

• Ability to consistently lift and move items up to 50lbs
• Experience using dollies, pallet jacks, or similar equipment (preferred)
• Ability to use RF scanners or willingness to learn
• Strong attention to detail, especially when verifying orders and inspecting items
• Ability to work in a fast-paced warehouse environment
• Commitment to safe work practices and proper lifting techniques
• Reliable attendance and punctuality
• Flexibility to work weekends and holidays as needed

 Summary: The Operations Supervisor supports daily functions within a distribution facility, ensuring smooth workflow, accurate inventory, and consistent product quality. This role helps guide warehouse activities, supports value-added processes, manages reporting needs, and maintains compliance with company standards. The position also coordinates with internal teams to ensure accurate orders, strong customer service, and efficient utilization of product and resources.

 Responsibilities

• Assist leadership with daily priorities, workflow oversight, and training of team members.

• Support shipping and receiving activities and identify opportunities to improve KPIs.

• Help plan and execute value-added processes such as ripening and production. • Maintain accurate inventory and apply FIFO standards to maximize product value.

• Communicate productivity updates including inventory, shipments, quality, and rework  metrics.

• Ensure all SOPs are followed for shipping, receiving, quality, and production processes.

• Track and analyze product issues, identify causes, and recommend solutions.

• Review customer specifications and ensure team compliance.

• Complete required quality documents and submit timely reports.

• Perform additional tasks as needed.

Requirements

• Minimum 2 years of supervisory experience in distribution, produce, or related fields.

• Demonstrated success leading teams and adapting to shifting priorities.

• Strong problem-solving and communication skills.

• Ability to work flexible hours.

• Bilingual English/Spanish preferred.

• Forklift experience preferred.

• High school diploma or equivalent experience.

• Proficiency with Microsoft Office; familiarity with inventory systems preferred.

• Ability to lift 25–50 lbs and work in a cool environment with moving equipment.
