MATERIAL HANDLER is a worker responsible for operating Stand up forklift and Turret Truck to safely lift, move, and position materials within a warehouse or production facility, typically utilizing specialized attachments to handle various types of loads while adhering to strict safety protocols and following work orders to ensure efficient material flow.
Primary Responsibilities:
Operating various types of forklifts (Stand-up, reach truck and Turret Truck) to move pallets throughout the warehouse.
Loading and unloading trucks efficiently.
Accurately picking and placing inventory in designated storage locations.
Verifying product quantity and quality against shipping documents.
Maintaining proper stock rotation.
Performing daily forklift inspections and reporting any maintenance issues
Job Requirements:
What you need to succeed (Qualifications, experience, skills, attributes)
- Generally prefer 6 months -2 years experience on stand up forklift and Turret Truck
- 7 year clean background
- Good work ethic and behavior
- Pass a drug screen urinalysis
- Be able to lift 40lbs

Job Overview
Verify part number and quantity of parts to warehousing paperwork (packing slip), screen for obvious damage on parts (segregate if needed), safely handle (package as required) and accurately complete associated electronic transactions in Warehouse Management System
What will you enjoy doing (duties/tasks)
- Verify part mark stamp and quantity of parts is correct with receipt/shipping paperwork
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite to provide pick lists for pickers
- Electronically process transaction WMS and stage on designated cart/rack
- Package parts following Material Handling Guidelines/kitting requirements/kit boxes
- Adhere to 5S requirements (methodology) within personal work area and area of responsibility Adhere to all safety guidance/principles
Job Requirements:
- This is an entry-level position.
- Good interpersonal skills required.
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Generally prefer 0-2 years of experience. Warehouse experience preferred.
- Use of RF (bar-code scan) devices preferred.
- Assertive communicator with the ability to delegate orders.
- Ability to resolve problems regarding order status.
