Job Specifics:

Skilled worker with a thorough knowledge of procedures and processes associated with supply, storage, and distribution functions in a fast-paced environment.

The candidate will be responsible for inbound orders, outbound orders, inventory management, storage and accurate documentation of packaged material.

Experience Requirements:

Must have at least one year of forklift experience in shipping & receiving warehouse environment.

Job duties:

• Unloading and loading of trucks and storing of materials into the warehouse according to current material put away procedures while following all safety and quality instructions.

• Maintaining efficiency throughout all unloading operations performed.

• Move and consolidate material within warehouse(s) to ensure appropriate use of available warehouse storage capacity utilizing current material put away procedures while following all safety and quality instructions.

• Perform a check of the quantity and quality of all materials to be unloaded or removed from production areas using required documentation. In case of problems with documentation, contact your Lead Operator/Inventory Controller. They will check and coordinate with the Warehouse/Packout Supervisor.

• Fill out all documents correctly once material has been properly stored within the warehouse. Submit documents to appropriate areas.

Forklift Operator with General Warehouse

Forklift Duties:

Will be operating a propane forklift 30 percent of the time.

Move pallets of product from bin location to repacking area.

Load containers with pallets of product.

General Warehouse duties:

Operate a purging machine that strains the plastic resin product.

Open barrels of their lids to move plastic resin into bins.

Dispose of old packaging material. Be able to lift up to 50 lbs.

Keep the areas clean of material and other items.

Environment:

Work will be in the open non-climate controlled environment.

Will work in the outdoors sun, heat, light rain, and dusty environment.

Schedule: Monday to Friday; Saturdays when needed.

Shifts: 8am to 5pm Temp to Hire opportunity.

Will be leading a team of ten or more forklift operators.

Conduct daily meetings with the team.

Attend daily meetings with facility manager concerning warehouse performance.

Be a contributor to the team – utilize the forklift and do load-ups when needed.

Ambition to grow with the team.

Will learn the company shipping process and be accountable for all the loads.

Knowledge of Microsoft Office including Powerpoint.

Be bilingual (English / Spanish) to communicate with the team.
