Responsibilities
- Oversee daily warehouse operations and ensure efficient workflow.
- Supervise a team of warehouse workers and provide training and support.
- Manage inventory levels and coordinate incoming and outgoing shipments.
- Implement and maintain best practices for safety and organization within the warehouse.
- Conduct regular audits and inspections to ensure compliance with company policies and safety regulations.
- Collaborate with management to develop and execute strategic plans for warehouse efficiency.
- Resolve any issues or conflicts that arise within the team or with deliveries promptly.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent; further education in logistics or management is a plus.
- Proven experience in warehouse management or a similar role, preferably in a lead position.
- Strong leadership and team management skills with the ability to motivate others.
- Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities to handle a fast-paced environment.
- Proficiency in warehouse management software and MS Office Suite.
- Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to make decisions independently.
- Ability to lift heavy items and work on your feet for extended periods.
