Experienced PIT (Reach Forklift) Operators Needed in Brookshire, TX!

As a PIT Operator, you will operate powered industrial trucks (forklifts, order pickers, etc.) to move, stack, load/unload materials, and support inbound/outbound warehouse operations. You’ll work in a dynamic supply-chain environment to maintain process excellence, safety, and quality standards.

• Operate powered industrial lift trucks (Reach/Stand-up) and Order Pickers to push, pull, lift, stack or move product, equipment and materials

• Use a handheld scanner with a high degree of accuracy for tracking inventory and goods.

• Load and unload trailers as required.

• Perform inbound receiving and/or put-away processes.

• Maintain a clean and safe working environment at all times.

• Display a commitment to process excellence and show understanding of the Supply Chain quality policy.

• May support team lead or other supervisors as needed.

• May perform other duties as assigned (including manual labor).

Shift & Schedule: Monday-Friday (and occasional, sometimes mandatory weekends)

7:00 a.m. - 5:0 p.m. (subject to change with production)

Job Requirements:

• Validated in the safe operation of powered industrial lift trucks (Reach (Stand-up & Order Picker).

• Availability to work a flexible schedule, including possible overtime.

• At least 1 year of warehouse or material-handling experience.

• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs frequently, and possibly greater than 75 lbs occasionally.

• Stand, sit or walk for long periods of time; bend, stoop, squat, twist, push and pull.

• Ability to tolerate hot or cold warehouse environments.

• Handle or manage tools or equipment safely.

• High school diploma or equivalent

• Strong team-oriented attitude; good communication skills with leadership and peers.

Pay: $17.00-18.00/hr. DOE. Weekly pay!

Job Requirements:

• High school diploma or equivalent

• 1 year of warehouse experience

• Availability to work a flexible schedule, with possible overtime when needed

• Lift 50 lbs. frequently and greater than 75 lbs. occasionally

• Lift objects of various shapes, sizes and weights

• Bend, stoop, squat, twist, push and pull

• Stand, sit or walk for long periods of time

• Use hands and fingers to handle or feel tools or equipment

• Tolerate hot or cold warehouse environments

Job responsibilities: 

• Reach Truck operators are responsible for receiving, transportation, delivery and handling of all material received and distributed throughout the warehouse and manufacturing areas.
• Transport goods packed on pallets or in crates to designated areas safely.
• Ensure material is transported to correct locations.
• Proper PPE and uniform must be worn at all times during each shift.
• Execute assignments in an accurate, timely and safe manner.
