Forklift/Clamp Operator

Monday-Friday 8am to 5pm overtime when needed.

Location-Wilmington, NC

Needed immediately.

• • Safely operates PIV equipment, (forklifts, clamp trucks, reach trucks, and order pickers) to load, unload, sort, stack, and stage product
  • Locates and picks material into/out of warehouse racks and between locations
  • Ensure that all equipment in use has been inspected and is in safe operating condition
  • Work with local and regional freight companies 
  • Stock and arrange product to ensure inventory accuracy
  • Enters inventory into software system
  • Ensure accuracy of part number, quantity, and other data field entries that impact electronic records of receipts, inventories, and location. Resolves discrepancies as necessary
  • Ensures that pallets are stable, have appropriate height, and are free of damage
  • Prioritizes the timely delivery or removal of designated materials to meet customer needs
  • Performs training, housekeeping, and other duties as assigned

Job Requirements:

Forklift/Clamp Operators Requirements include but may not be limited to:

• Able to lift up to 50 pounds
• High school diploma or GED 
• Strong written & verbal communication skills
• Warehouse experience required
• Valid driver's licenses
• Shipping & receiving experience
• RF scanning experience

The forklift position is a critical role within the warehouse operations. This position is a fast-paced environment and a requires a keen attention to detail. The focus of this position is to assist warehouse dock leads in verifying loads, ensuring that all shipments are accurately documented. Will be loading/unloading pallets from trucks & staging pallets.  Must have previous experience. 

1st and 2nd Shift positions available

6-4:30 AM and PM Monday to Thursday 

Weekend Shift 6am to 6:30pm Friday, Saturday and Sunday Only

Located in Garysburg, NC.

Starting at $16.75/hr

The facility is a non-controlled environment, which requires wearing steel toe shoes for safety. The job involves manual lifting of up to 50 pounds and standing for extended periods, typically up to 10 hours at a time.

Job Requirements:

• 1 year forklift experience 

•  High school diploma or equivalent.

• 1 year of experience in logistics or warehouse operations. 

• 1 year of experience in shipping and receiving.

• Experience with warehouse management systems. 

• Familiarity with safety regulations in warehouse environments.
