The Warehouse Team Lead is responsible for supervising the day to day activities of the department to ensure all operations run seamlessly. They will report to department supervisor and will work alongside the supervisor and team. 

  • Read and respond to emails in a timely and professional manner
  • Performing clerical and customer service functions, including interacting with customers, and responding to any questions or requests on timely manner.
  • Track and update Overtime and work order file
  • Support with end of day report/dashboard email
  • Communicate goals and deadlines to team members
  • Planning workloads and delegating tasks
  • Fill out and scan/email Time Correction Sheets to appropriate managers
  • Assist Lead and/or Supervisor with daily exception processes
  • Track and trace all important equipment within the department
  • Assist in the training of new associates on all necessary processes utilizing SOPs/SOSs
  • Participate in management meetings
  • Research pending orders
 

Job Requirements:

Requirements

  • 2+ years of Leadership experience
  • 2+ years of experience working with Warehouse management systems
  • 2+ years of experience working with E-commerce processes and functions
  • 2+ years of experience in Data Entry Skills
  • 2 years of experience working with Microsoft office suite
  • Ability to successfully communicate – both verbal and written

  • Set up and operate hydraulic press brake 
  • Understand dimensions, tolerances and angles of formed part
  • Calculate bend locations, appropriate tonnage and tooling for each part
  • Verify all parts are present and correctly formed to specs
  • Organize work area before and after parts are processed
  • stack completed parts properly on tables or pallets 
  • Update production board with status of orders throughout the day
  • Detect equipment malfunctions or out of tolerance machining and adjust machine with in capabilities. 
  • Report all machine malfunctions to management.

  • Ability to perform basic math questions accurately

Quality Technician – Duties and Responsibilities

  • Interpret engineering drawings, schematics, and technical formulas; collaborate with engineering and management to establish and maintain quality and reliability standards.
  • Select in-process and finished products for inspection and perform tests to verify dimensional accuracy, performance, and mechanical, electrical, or chemical characteristics.
  • Record and analyze test data using statistical quality control methods, including SPC and MSA/GR&R.
  • Evaluate results and prepare reports that confirm compliance or identify deviations from established standards.
  • Set up and conduct destructive and non-destructive testing on materials, components, and finished products to assess performance, durability, and material properties.
  • Perform daily process audits on all production weld cells in accordance with audit procedures.
  • Prepare charts, graphs, and digital data entries to support analysis and reporting activities.
  • Conduct dock audits as required by the quality plan.
  • Manage the Layered Process Audit (LPA) system, including weekly audit assignments, tracking, and documentation.

  • High School diploma or general education degree (GED).

  • Five years of experience as a Quality Technician or a related role.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Receives, reviews and processes requests for materials, supplies and equipment needed for specific projects and general activities. 
  • Determines accuracy of paperwork by closely reviewing pertinent information on documents and purchase requests that are sent to Procurement
  • Rechecks quantities and condition of materials delivered and takes corrective action when appropriate; verifies receipt of shipments when original invoice is received and certifies invoices for payment.
  • Prepares information and reports as required.
  • Must follow the procedure and safely operate a gas or electric fork-lift to move, stack, load and unload material within the facility.
  • Serves as Team Leader to fork-lift operators.
  • Keep and retain shipping and receiving records and documents as required.
  • Exemplify leadership abilities that encompass minimum supervision authorities.
  • Perform routine cycle counts of parts and or components.
  • Monitor, reinforce and audit FIFO.
  • Train Forklift Operators
  • Administrative duties as required.
  • Good communication skills
  • Produce system shipper or manual shipper for all outbound freight.
  • Transmit ASN (Advanced Shipping Notice) systematically.
  • Contact customers, suppliers and carriers as required and maintain professional relationships.
  • Develop forms as required for follow-up purposes.
  • Stage. Load or transport material and containers as needed.
  • File / record keeping.

Job Requirements:

qualifications:

  • Two (2) years of experience as a Materials Technician or a related role
  • High School diploma or GED is required
  • Two (2) years of experience with basic computer skills
  • A minimum of one year of experience reading freight bills, and bill of ladings.
  • One year of experience communicating effectively with others in a work environment
  • One year of experience working with basic math skills in a work environment (ability to perform inventory cycle counts as needed)
  • One year of current experience as a Hi-Lo Driver
  • Must be able to frequently lift and/or move up to 25 pounds.
  • The specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus.
