Direct hire positions available for a plastics manufacturing company located on Cane Run Road. Positions needing filled are for Maintenance Techs, first and second shifts available!

Shift: 1st & 2nd (6am-8am start time for 1st, 3:30pm start time for 2nd)

Pay: $28- $31 based on experience

Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

• Dismantles machines or equipment, replaces defective parts and motors, and adjusts feed mechanisms.
• Cleans and lubricates machine parts such as shafts, pulleys, gears, and bearings.
• Replaces or repairs machine belts.
• Removes dust, dirt, grease, and waste material from machines.
• Bends, cuts, and threads pipe, cuts openings in walls, ceilings, and floors for pipes, and seals pipe joints with sealing compound.
• Cuts out and joins parts for worktables, benches, shelves and other furnishings.
• Patches or replaces plaster or plaster board and paints walls, ceilings, and trim of building.
• Clears clogged machinery and/or machine parts
• Candidates should have the ability to perform basic electrical troubleshooting on equipment and systems to support safe and efficient operations.
• Should be able to diagnose and repair electrical faults such as blown fuses, tripped breakers, short circuits, and open circuits.
• Proficiency in using tools like multimeters, clamp-on ammeters, screwdrivers, and pliers to test circuits and equipment.
• Furnishes Industrial Maintenance Technicians and Manager with materials, tools, and supplies.
• Cleans work areas, tools, and equipment.
• Performs other routine duties and assists Industrial Maintenance Technicians and Manager in any way.

Job Requirements:

Required experience:  Machine Maintenance Experience: 5 years

Reasoning Ability: Able to apply common sense understanding to carry out detailed but uninvolved written or oral instructions. Ability to deal with problems involving a few concrete variables in standardized situations.

Computer Skills: Employee should have basic computer skills.

Responsible for warehouse functions to include unloading and unpacking shipments, inbound processing, scanning and shelving of parts, pulling orders, and data entry into computerized inventory control system and inventory control. Does not operate power equipment. May utilize barcode scanning equipment.

Supply chain warehouse on Outer Loop has an immediate need for Laptop/Chromebook repair techs! 

What will you be doing?

• Working in a climate controlled Tech Room
• Disassembling/Reassembling laptops using small hand tools
• Running test programs on equipment
• Soldering 
• Troubleshooting electronics

Pay/Hours:

-1st Shift: 6:00am-2:30pm- $17.50/hour

-2nd Shift 3pm-11:30pm, $18.50/hour

Temp to hire positions, eligible after 60 days
