SIT DOWN FORKLIFT DRIVER NEEDED IN ELIZABETH, NJ

Shift: Mon, Tues, Wed, Fri, Sun

10am-6:30pm

Pay rate: $20 Per Hour

 Essential Duties and Responsibilities 

• Receiving incoming shipments: This includes unloading deliveries, checking for damaged goods, verifying quantities and conditions against purchase orders and invoices.
• Storage and organization: Properly storing and organizing the received goods in their designated locations within the warehouse for efficient retrieval.
• Handling discrepancies and returns: Documenting and resolving issues such as damaged or incorrect items and managing the return process when necessary.
• Inspecting and verifying accuracy: Comparing the received goods against purchase orders and packing slips to ensure the correct items, quantities, and conditions have been met.

Job Requirements:

MUST BE FORKLIFT CERTIFIED WITH US OR COME INTO THE MIDLAND PARK, NJ OFFICE TO BE FORKLIFT CERTIFIED.

• You need to operate equipment such as reach trucks and stand-up forklifts.
• Steel to boots 
• Must be able to speak and read English
• Employee must frequently lift and/or move up to 25 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds

Essential Job Functions

• Oversee the day-to-day operations of the e-commerce team, ensuring the seamless execution of duties.
• 
  Analyze e-commerce performance metrics and coach the team when needed.
• 
  Collaborate with other departments when needed to ensure a successful overall operation.
• 
  Assist with staff duty delegations according to business needs.
• 
  Train new and existing associates on current Standard Operating Procedures, which includes but is not limited to shipping, receiving, picking, returns, and/or quality control.
• 
  Assist associates and temporary labor in the completion of productivity sheets and accurate capture of production and payroll hours.
  Accomplish all job tasks in a manner that promotes safety.
• 
  Responsible for cleanliness of warehouse.
• 
  Maintain a clean, neat, orderly work area, and assist in security of the warehouse.
• 
  Assist the Operations Supervisor in ensuring that all associates handle products according to all prescribed quality procedures and SOPs.

Job Requirements:

• Fast learner, customer experience driven and very detail-oriented individual.
• 
  Proven experience in e-commerce leadership, preferably within the luxury goods sector.
• 
  Exceptional leadership and team management skills.
• 
  Analytical mindset with the ability to leverage data for strategic decision-making.
• 
  Familiarity with warehouse management systems and inventory management.
  Excellent communication skills.
• 
  Ability to train and develop new and existing associates.
• 
  Fluent in Spanish and English required.
• 
  2 years of experience working in a logistics/distribution/relevant environment.
• 
  Mandatory overtime when needed

Pay Rate: Dependent on Experience

-Operate EPJ (electric Pallet Jack) to move product from dock to rack and from rack to picking location -selecting full case grocery and dairy products from warehouse pick slots using pallet jacks - Schedule is Sunday-Thursday; 1pm-9:30pm - Pay Rate: $16/hour first 2 weeks, then will be raised to $18/hour - Job Location: Carlstadt, NJ (must have reliable transportation as we do not provide transportation)

- Must pass in office assessment for Forklift Drivers and a written exam

• Electric Pallet Jack Experience required- A test will be carried out prior to placement
