Job Summary:
The forklift Operator is responsible for the safe and efficient operation of Powered Industrial Equipment. The forklift operator is responsible for utilizing the lift equipment to move, load, unload, and stack product for shipping and receiving.
Daily responsibilities:
- Safely operate Powered Industrial equipment to move products or materials for distribution such as standard sit-down or stand-up forklifts, clamp, and picker equipment.
- Load, unload, and store products and/or materials.
- Stack and/or transport materials and products to designated areas.
- Use equipment to scan product and print labels.
- Complete paperwork and operate inventory management systems as needed.
- Ensure product rotation procedures are followed.
- Complete cycle count as required.
- Perform daily safely inspections per the Safety Checklist on forklift trucks.
- Ensure facility is always inspection ready for SQFI, FDA, and customer needs.
- Communicate and report any incidents to supervisor.
- May perform housekeeping duties.
- Miscellaneous tasks as assigned by Supervisor.
- Participating in warehouse activities, including truck unloading, stock counting, order processing, and maintaining warehouse organization.
- Ensuring compliance with procedures and conducting regular safety checks on warehouse equipment to always prioritize safety.?

Essential Job Duties: Associates will be working in the freezer, order picking goods using an electric pallet jack rider and cherry picker.
- Packaged finished product for shipping, shrink wrapping, boxing, and labeling.
- Workers will spend time in the freezer and deli section. A freezer suit will be provided to each employee.
- Staging finished product for loading.

- Operate rotary chop saw and band saw to cut pipe length.
- Handle movement of pipe along the length of table and off load to a cart or create of staging in loading areas.
- Operate Victaulic or Pace Grooving machine for grooved pipe end process.
- Operate band saw in order o cut threaded rod to specified lengths.
- Part of the day is spent doing fabrication work, other parts may be on the forklift (sit-down)
- Shipping/receiving, putting on labels, pulling materials and helping around the shop.
