Training Requirement:
All new hires must complete 2-3 weeks of paid training on 1st Shift (Monday-Friday, 6:00 AM-2:30 PM) at $18.00/hour before transitioning to 3rd Shift.

Position Overview

We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Order Processor to join our Distribution Center team. This role is responsible for accurately receiving, storing, moving, picking, packing, and shipping materials while maintaining inventory accuracy, quality standards, and a safe work environment.

Requirements

  • 2-6 months of Reach Truck experience required
  • Forklift experience preferred
  • Ability to work safely in a warehouse environment
  • Ability to perform physical job duties, including standing, lifting, and moving materials
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy

Key Responsibilities

  • Receive, store, and transport materials throughout the warehouse
  • Pick and pack products accurately to fulfill customer orders
  • Verify inventory counts, part numbers, and order information
  • Inspect materials for damage, packaging issues, and billing discrepancies
  • Process UPS and FedEx shipments
  • Repack, relabel, and rework products to customer specifications
  • Safely operate reach trucks and forklifts
  • Maintain accurate inventory and proper storage of finished goods
  • Complete required documentation and clerical tasks
  • Review orders for correct labeling and quantities
  • Communicate inventory, quality, or shipping issues to supervisors
  • Assist with prioritizing and completing rush orders
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area

As an Inspector II, you will play a critical role in ensuring that purchased parts, assemblies, accessories, and materials meet required specifications and quality standards. Using precision measuring instruments and inspection equipment, you will verify product conformity, identify defects in materials and workmanship, and assess any damage that may have occurred during transit.

What You'll Do

  • Inspect incoming and dispositioned materials against approved documentation using statistical sampling methods.
  • Understand and utilize the Non-Conforming Event (NCE) system to document and report non-conformances.
  • Identify, segregate, and manage non-conforming materials, including coordinating sorts and rework activities.
  • Move non-conforming materials to designated areas using a pallet jack when required.
  • Perform part history reviews and First Article Inspections (FAI).
  • Review vendor-supplied documentation, inspection results, and material acceptability.
  • Assist with tracking work completion and supporting NCE investigations.
  • Develop corrective action plans and perform effectiveness verification activities.
  • Maintain accurate inspection records and quality documentation.
  • Ensure compliance with all quality, safety, and regulatory requirements.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve quality issues and support continuous improvement initiatives.

Qualifications

  • Experience in quality inspection, manufacturing, aerospace, or a related industry preferred.
  • Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings, specifications, and inspection procedures.
  • Experience using precision measuring instruments such as calipers, micrometers, gauges, and related inspection tools.
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
  • Basic computer skills and experience with quality management systems preferred.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Ability to lift and move materials as required.
