Responsibilities

  • Operate stand-up forklift safely and efficiently to transport goods throughout the warehouse.
  • Load and unload trucks and pallets using the forklift in a timely manner.
  • Perform regular inspections of the forklift to ensure operational safety and maintenance.
  • Accurately pick and pack orders based on shipment requirements using the stand-up forklift.
  • Maintain accurate inventory records by tracking item locations and quantities during transport.
  • Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient workflow and resolve any issues that arise during operations.
  • Maintain a clean and organized work area, adhering to all safety protocols and regulations.

 

 

Job Requirements:

Requirements

  • Valid forklift operator certification with a focus on stand-up models.
  • Previous experience operating stand-up forklifts in a warehouse or manufacturing environment.
  • Strong understanding of safety regulations and best practices for material handling.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining a high level of accuracy.
  • Good communication skills to effectively collaborate with team members and supervisors.

Job Description:

  • Inspects product load for accuracy and safely move it around the warehouse or facility to ensure timely and complete delivery.
  • Manually or mechanically load or unload materials from pallets, skids, platforms, cars, lifting devices, or other transport vehicles.
  • Move levers or controls that operate lifting devices, such as forklifts, lift beams with swivel-hooks, hoists, or elevating platforms, to load, unload, transport, or stack material.
  • Position lifting devices under, over, or around loaded pallets, skids, or boxes and secure material or products for transport to designated areas.
  • Must provide Hi-Viz vest
