  • Weekend Day Shift (Friday–Monday, 5:00 AM – 3:30 PM)

Job Summary:

We are hiring skilled and entry-level Maintenance Technicians for multiple direct hire opportunities in the Tacoma and Fife area. These positions support manufacturing and industrial facilities with a focus on equipment maintenance, facility upkeep, and production reliability.


Responsibilities:

  • Perform preventative and reactive maintenance on mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems
  • Troubleshoot and repair manufacturing equipment such as conveyors, pumps, injection molding and/or CNC machinery
  • Read and interpret schematics and manuals to diagnose faults
  • Conduct safety checks and ensure compliance with company and OSHA regulations
  • Document maintenance activities and complete work orders accurately
  • Support plant infrastructure, utilities, and general building maintenance

 

Job Requirements:

Qualifications:

  • 1–3+ years of maintenance or facilities experience (entry-level roles available with training)
  • High School Diploma or GED required; technical training or certifications preferred
  • Ability to lift 35–50 lbs and move safely throughout industrial environments
  • Strong mechanical aptitude and familiarity with tools, meters, and schematics
  • Availability to work assigned shifts, overtime, or on-call as needed

  • Track, trace, and monitor Estes Forwarding shipments and update the status with complete notes.
  • Perform clerical processes related to the Estes Forwarding business. Process routine customer information in support of transportation, billing, and/or collection efforts.
  • Monitor the Web, fax, and voice mail for service provider updates.
  • Maintain data for specific customers, markets, products, and/or processes as required.
