Shift is Monday-Friday, may be on rotating weekend schedule

Pay: $20.00-30.00/hr

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:

• Performs mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic maintenance of manufacturing equipment (i.e. printing presses, folding machines, etc.).

• Repairs and maintains facility systems (HVAC, plumbing, compressed air, and humidification).

• Performs basic handiwork such as replacing light bulbs, ballasts, water and air filters, and plumbing fixtures, cleaning drains, hanging pictures and bulletin boards, and maintaining proper forklift batteries.

• Prepares and operates machine tools such as grinders, and drill presses to repair machine parts and/or fixtures.

• Troubleshoots electric and electronic problems.

• Performs inspections of and tests fire alarms and pumps.

• Troubleshoots and repairs mechanical components including bindery equipment (folder roller changes, transport belts, bearings, drive motors) and presses.

• Troubleshoots and repairs PLC’s.

• Troubleshoots motors, pumps, compressors and any other systems in the plant.

• Maintains accurate maintenance records.

• Operates scissors.

• Understands and respects responsibilities of working in an SOP and cGMP environment.

• Performs other job duties as assigned.

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Must have high school diploma or G.E.D.

• Must have a working knowledge of AC/DC motors.

• Must be trained in basic electric and mechanical safety.

• Must have some basic computer experience.

Job Requirements:

Shift: 3rd 11:30pm-7:30am

Schedule: Mon-Friday

Pay: $17.00

Key Responsibilities

• Set up and operate die cutting machines (flatbed, rotary, or clicker press)
• Read and interpret work orders, blueprints, and job specifications
• Inspect materials and finished products to ensure quality standards are met
• Adjust machine settings for optimal performance and efficiency
• Perform routine maintenance and troubleshoot minor mechanical issues
• Monitor production output and minimize waste
• Maintain a clean and safe work environment
• Follow all safety guidelines and company procedures
• Collaborate with team members and supervisors to meet production goals

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required
• 1–3 years of die cutting or machine operation experience preferred
• Experience in packaging, printing, or manufacturing environments is a plus
• Mechanical aptitude and ability to troubleshoot equipment
• Ability to read measuring tools and follow technical instructions
• Strong attention to detail and quality control
