Production Operator

Location: Stead, NV
Pay Rate: $24.90 per hour
Schedule: Rotating 12-hour shifts (days and nights)

Job Summary

The Production Operator supports daily manufacturing operations by safely operating and maintaining production equipment, ensuring product quality, and preparing finished goods for shipment. This role requires attention to detail, physical stamina, and the ability to work effectively in a team-oriented, safety-focused environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Participate in daily safety routines as both an individual contributor and team member
• Perform calibration functions on processing equipment
• Use basic hand and power tools safely and effectively
• Measure pipe and verify dimensional tolerances meet required specifications
• Prepare products for shipping in accordance with various packaging requirements
• Assist teammates and support production needs as required
• Maintain a safe, organized, and efficient work area
• Perform physical tasks including standing for extended periods on concrete flooring, bending, stooping, and lifting

Required Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required
• Must be at least 18 years of age
• Valid driver’s license
• Detail-oriented with a demonstrated history of shift work
• Proven ability to work injury-free while following workplace and plant safety practices
• General knowledge and experience using hand tools
• Basic computer and math skills
• Proficient in English (verbal and written communication)
• Ability to lift up to approximately 50 lbs. without assistance
• Ability to work safely in a team-oriented environment

Preferred Qualifications

• Previous experience in a manufacturing environment
• Plastics extrusion process experience
