Shift:  Sunday - Saturday 8am - 12pm - Work all or some of the days

Pay: $18.75 - Get Paid Weekly every Friday

Job Duties:

• Loading and unloading of packages by hand.  No heavy lifting required.
• You will be on your feet for your entire shift.
• Ability to regularly lift, push, pull and/or move items averaging 50lbs.
• Offloading and sorting incoming packages for distribution and/or prepare outgoing freight for delivery. 
• Inspect packages to make sure they are safe for truck transportation.

Job Description:

• Manage freight flow by moving, scanning, and handling freight manually and/or with power equipment.
• Provide basic maintenance to equipment (e.g., clean, inspect).
• Ensure freight quality by processing stray and damaged cases; inspecting pallets, shrink wrap, and freight for damage; cutting shrink wrap as needed; and maintaining records, logs, and forms.
• Maintain merchandise supply by replenishing pallets of merchandise onto/from racks or docks using warehouse systems or through verbal instructions.

Job Requirements:

Requirements: 

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred
• Minimum of one year of related powered industrial forklift experience required
• Ability to read, do basic mathematics, understand and respond to written and verbal instructions in English for the purposes of safety, work instructions, policies, etc.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds unassisted and walk in high traffic areas
  The ability to input data into various WMS computer systems
• Work overtime as assigned

Skills:

• Ability to lift at least 50 pounds unassisted and the capacity to transact system information in a productive manner.

• 1 plus year of Dispatch experience required

• A high school diploma or GED equivalent
• A minimum of 1 (one) year of experience in logistics, transportation, warehouse or related field is required for this position
• Must have experience with DOT compliance and driver routing

Additional Requirements:

• The candidate must possess excellent written, verbal, organizational and leadership skills and possess strong customer service skills
• Some computer skills are required and will train on the location's software
