Bin Assembly/Runner/Installers/Dock Worker

• Quickly and accurately assembling the bins to be installed.
• This position requires strong attention to detail.
• Associates will be assembling bins and inspecting materials for manufacturing flaws which need to be communicated to a supervisor immediately.
• Working in a specific area and assembling a specific part of the bin.
• Repetitive motion and standing for long periods of time.
• Ability to keep designated work area clean, neat, and organized. Work area is climate controlled, but work area can. sometimes be. warm or cold depending on where they are working.
• Responsible for moving decommissioned material from the work area to the recycling trailers on pallets or on u- boats as well as moving new materials from the dock to the assembly areas. Associates use manual pallet jacks to move material on pallets.
• Ability to use manual pallet jacks to move material on pallets.
• Running/installing also move assembled bins and install them in the bays with “Christmas Tree Clips”. Requires bending, stooping, standing, push/pull for up to 8 hours in an environment that is dusty.
• Dock associates unload decommissioned material brought down by runners into the trailers.
• Dock associates unload material for new bins and work with runners to move the material to the workstation or stage the material in designating staging areas.
• Monitor the staging area to ensure it is kept clear and is emptied when needed.
• Strong communication with client teams
• Sort bad pallets from good pallets and communicate with Amazon to coordinate their removal from the work area.
• This position requires lifting to 30 pounds as well as bending, lifting, stooping, pushing, pulling for an entire shift.
