Must be available to work every other weekend and 12 hour shifts. PIT Operators work in both shipping and receiving environments.
Sit down forklift experience is a plus

Pay - $26.00 - $28.00 A Forklift Mechanic is responsible for inspecting, diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining forklifts and related material-handling equipment. This role ensures equipment operates safely, efficiently, and in compliance with company and regulatory standards. Work may include electric, diesel, LP, and hybrid-powered units depending on the fleet.Key Responsibilities• Perform diagnostics and troubleshooting on mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems.• Conduct preventive maintenance including fluid changes, lubrication, battery service, and safety inspections.• Repair and replace components such as engines, transmissions, brakes, masts, forks, lift cylinders, steering systems, and electrical wiring.• Inspect equipment for safety compliance and document findings according to OSHA and company standards.• Respond to breakdowns and perform on-site or shop repairs to minimize downtime.• Maintain accurate service records including parts used, labor hours, and completed work.• Order and manage parts inventory as needed for repairs and maintenance.• Collaborate with operations teams to schedule maintenance and communicate equipment status.• Operate forklifts and related equipment to verify repairs and ensure proper functionality.• Follow all safety protocols and maintain a clean, organized work environment.
