Now Hiring: Fiber Optic Assembler (1st Shift)

Looking for a hands-on opportunity in a precision manufacturing environment? We are seeking detail-oriented Fiber Optic Assemblers to join our team. If you have excellent hand-eye coordination, enjoy working with small components, and take pride in producing quality work, this could be a great fit for you.

Pay Rate: $17.00 per hour
Shift: Monday – Friday, 7:00 AM – 3:00 PM

Important: This is a temporary assignment expected to last 2 to 6 months.

Job Responsibilities

  • Perform fiber optic assembly operations according to work instructions, drawings, procedures, and quality standards.
  • Operate manufacturing equipment used in fiber optic production, including stripping, cleaving, ribbonizing, polishing, curing, cleaning, inspection, and testing equipment.
  • Follow production schedules and daily priorities to meet productivity goals.
  • Inspect products to ensure quality and accuracy.
  • Handle delicate fiber optic components with care and precision.
  • Follow cleanroom and controlled-environment procedures when applicable.
  • Maintain contamination-control practices and proper cleaning procedures.
  • Accurately complete required production documentation.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

  • Previous assembly or manufacturing experience preferred.
  • Good eyesight and ability to identify small details.
  • Strong manual dexterity and ability to work with small, delicate components.
  • Excellent attention to detail and quality.
  • Ability to perform repetitive tasks while maintaining accuracy.
  • Ability to follow written instructions and procedures.
  • Reliable attendance and punctuality.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Now Hiring 3rd Shift Order Processor in Tucson!

Reach Truck experience

Pay: $18.75/hour

Shift: 10:00 PM–6:30 AM, Sunday–Thursday

Training: Candidates must complete 2–3 weeks of training on 1st Shift (Monday–Friday, 6:00 AM–2:30 PM) at $18.00/hour before transitioning to 3rd Shift.

Job Summary:

Responsible for accurately receiving, storing, moving, picking, packing, and shipping materials within the Distribution Center while maintaining inventory accuracy and safety standards.

Essential Duties:

  • Receive, store, and move materials to shipping locations.
  • Pick products accurately to fulfill customer orders. Verify inventory counts, part numbers, and order accuracy.
  • Check for billing errors, damaged materials, and packaging discrepancies; reconcile as needed.
  • Process UPS/FedEx shipments.
  • Repack, relabel, and rework materials to customer specifications.
  • Safely operate reach trucks and forklifts for inbound and outbound orders.
  • Ensure proper storage of finished goods inventory.
  • Perform clerical tasks and documentation as required.
  • Review orders for correct counts and labeling; report errors or damage to Supervisor.
  • Collaborate with supervision to prioritize and complete rush orders.
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area.

 

Job Requirements:

 

  • 2–6 months of Reach Truck experience required
  • GED required (must be presented during the interview)
  • Ability to work safely in a warehouse environment and handle physical job duties
