Job Opening: Assembly
Description
• Assembles products according to customer instructions and following all safety protocols • Handle required hazardous materials that are a standard for completing full setup of the product • Use body extremities to quickly move your hand, your hand together with your arm, or your two hands to grasp, manipulate, or install parts • Operate motor powered product to drive off returnable crates and into staging area • Ability to work with warehouse systems as required by facility (i.e., SAP) • Completes quality checklists • Assists in building and grounds maintenance to ensure facility is maintained in a clean, safe, and orderly manner • Complete activity and shift reporting as assigned • Use industrial equipment to stage and clean up product in the assembly area • Maintain all safety rules • Performs job related duties as specified by management • Complete all training courses as required.
Qualifications:
• Strong comprehension to instructions, written, and verbal communication skills • Ability to see quality details close range (within a few feet)., pertaining to product and tool defects • Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure • Ability to work evenings, holidays and weekends is required. Overtime may be required • Ability to lift material weighing 50 to 115 pounds with team assistance • Ability to become certified to operator industrial equipment • Able to safely drive customer’s motor-powered vehicles a short distance from crate, over warehouse floor and into trailer. Must be able to navigate through close quarters, around pedestrians, and through aisles.
