Job Opening: Food Service Assistant

ProLogistix is looking for a Food Service Assistant to work in the Liberty area. 

Pay: $18.00/hr

Shift: 2nd/3rd Shift Hybrid

• Sunday: 7:30 pm – 3:30 am
• Monday: 7:30 pm – 3:30 am
• Thursday: 2 pm – 10 pm
• Friday: 2 pm – 10 pm

The Food Service Assistant will be responsible for food preparation for the kitchen area they are assigned to. Coordinate leftover product utilization and recovery with other culinary staff and managers to control food costs. Weighing ingredients for recipes, figures partial amounts, adds, and subtracts fractions. Labels ingredients clearly. Monitoring food preparation temperatures with appropriate temperature logs to ensure safety and compliance with Health Department regulations.

Food Service Assistant Work Requirements:

• High School Diploma or GED
• Ability to lift 50lbs as needed
• Able to push/pull 50lbs carts
• Walk for long periods of time
• Stand for 8 hours
• Slip resistant shoes
• Use kitchen equipment such as knives, mixers, meat slicers, ovens, choppers, and other hot or sharp kitchen equipment
