Job Opening: Roll Tender and Press Operators Needed! Direct Hire Positions

Direct hire positions for printing company in Lebanon Junction, KY (40150). Entry level and skilled positions available in the press department. 

Roll Tender (Entry Level)

1st shift- $17.02 per hour

2nd & 3rd shift- $18.72 per hour

-Load rolls of paper onto automatic splicing unit of web offset printing press. Inspect rolls of paper for tears and blemishes, then cut away damaged area with knife. Must be able to lift and insert 75 pound shafts in to rolls, to be hoisted up. 

Press Operator 1- Assistant on a web offset press (Entry level)

1st shift- $18.68 per hour

2nd & 3rd shift- $20.55 per hour

-Set up, adjust, operate and maintain single or multi-color offset press to print single-color, tow-color and/or multi-color work.

Requirements:

• Looking for a long term commitment 
• Excellent attendance history
• Able to pass drug screen
• Able to pass assessments related to positions
• Able to read measuring tape
• Able to work in a noisy environment (ear plugs are mandatory and provided)
• Able to attend an interview and tour the facility, prior to starting work
• Able to attend a 1 day orientation on 1st shift, even if working other shifts
• Willingness to learn in other departments
• Have a desire to grow and move up into different positions in the facility
