A national outsource provider of mail presort services for first-class and standard-class mail in the U.S. is seeking an experience Industrial Maintenance Technician in Salt Lake City, UT to joining their team. Pay $20.00-$26.00 per hours, based on experience
Shift 5:15pm-1:45am Monday-Saturday plus Overtime. Will need to be flexible.
As an Maintenance Technician your duties may consist of:
- Troubleshoot, diagnose, install, and repair complex mechanical and electronic industrial equipment including conveyor systems, sortation machines, and other Material Handling Equipment (MHE).
- Respond to equipment break down or emergency situations with urgency and expediency.
- Utilize inventory, pm schedule and work order systems, and maintains the spare parts/supply inventory.
- Evaluate and assess equipment problems by troubleshooting and completing repairs in a timely manner.
- Perform all additional duties as required

• 3-5 years’ experience trouble-shooting and repairing complex industrial mechanical equipment i
• Ability to perform electrical and mechanical repairs, preventative maintenance, and installations on industrial machinery
• An Associates degree in Industrial Technology, Electronics, Computer Science or related field of study is preferred.
• Experience using a multi-meter or any other type of electronic testing equipment.
• Ability to read and interpret schematics, charts, service manuals and parts diagram preferred.
• Familiarity with Windows PC environment as it pertains to the operation of automated equipment preferred.
• Excellent problem solving skills, including the ability to troubleshoot equipment problems, read schematics, establish priorities, and work under deadline pressures.
• The ability to lift up to 50 lbs., walk, stand, stoop, and bend 80% of the time with or without accommodations.
