Job Opening: Maintenance Tech

$26-$45 DOE• Utilize LEAN tools such as Standardized Work, 5S, Visual Management as well as leading Kaizen projects and documenting results to support continuous improvement projects• Identify and establish machine spares for equipment as needed• Continuously work to improve the level of housekeeping and implement 5S throughout the facility• Perform any other duties as specified by the Maintenance & CI Manager• High School diploma or equivalent, preferably including hands-on or vocational school training, and a minimum of ten (10) years of experience as a general maintenance mechanic in a manufacturing environment, or an equivalent combination of training and experience, or A.S./A.A. Degree in Mechanical/Utilities Technology, or Licensed Journeyman, with a minimum of five (5) years of work experience.• Must be willing to work altered shift schedules/overtime as needed to support the business• Daily and Weekend Overtime may be required to complete duties of the position• Leading mechanics and contractors during work in the plant• Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating/maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.
