Quality Technician – Duties and Responsibilities
- Interpret engineering drawings, schematics, and technical formulas; collaborate with engineering and management to establish and maintain quality and reliability standards.
- Select in-process and finished products for inspection and perform tests to verify dimensional accuracy, performance, and mechanical, electrical, or chemical characteristics.
- Record and analyze test data using statistical quality control methods, including SPC and MSA/GR&R.
- Evaluate results and prepare reports that confirm compliance or identify deviations from established standards.
- Set up and conduct destructive and non-destructive testing on materials, components, and finished products to assess performance, durability, and material properties.
- Perform daily process audits on all production weld cells in accordance with audit procedures.
- Prepare charts, graphs, and digital data entries to support analysis and reporting activities.
- Conduct dock audits as required by the quality plan.
- Manage the Layered Process Audit (LPA) system, including weekly audit assignments, tracking, and documentation.
Requirements:

High School diploma or general education degree (GED).

Five years of experience as a Quality Technician or a related role.
