Job Opening: 2nd shift Line Lead
Description
Prologistix is hiring a Line Lead in McDonough, GA.
Shift is Monday – Friday 2:30 p.m. – 10:30 p.m.
Pay is $17/hr.
Duties include, but are not limited to:
- Lead and coordinate daily activities of production line employees to meet safety, quality, and productivity targets.
- Assign tasks, balance workloads, and ensure proper staffing throughout the shift.
- Monitor production output, downtime, and scrap; take corrective action when performance falls below expectations.
- Ensure adherence to all safety policies, procedures, and OSHA requirements; promote a strong safety culture.
- Verify that products meet quality standards and follow standard operating procedures (SOPs).
- Provide on-the-job training and coaching to new and existing employees.
- Communicate production goals, expectations, and updates clearly to the team.
- Escalate equipment issues, quality concerns, and staffing challenges to supervisors or maintenance as needed.
- Complete required production documentation, reports, and shift handoffs accurately.
- Support continuous improvement initiatives such as 5S, lean manufacturing, or process improvement projects.
- Ability to stand, walk, bend, and lift up to 40 pounds for extended periods.
- Ability to work in a warehouse environment with exposure to noise, machinery, and varying temperatures.
