Job Summary

The Warehouse Lead is responsible for overseeing daily warehouse operations and leading a team to ensure safe, efficient, and accurate handling of inventory, shipping, receiving, and order fulfillment. This role serves as a hands-on leader who supports staff, enforces procedures, and helps meet productivity and quality goals.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and support warehouse associates during daily operations
• Assign tasks, monitor workflow, and ensure productivity targets are met
• Train new employees and provide ongoing coaching to team members
• Ensure accurate receiving, storage, picking, packing, and shipping of materials
• Maintain inventory accuracy and assist with cycle counts and audits
• Enforce safety policies, housekeeping standards, and company procedures
• Communicate operational issues, staffing needs, and performance updates to management
• Assist with resolving order discrepancies and operational challenges
• Operate warehouse equipment as needed (forklifts, pallet jacks, scanners, etc.

• High school diploma or GED required
• 2+ years of warehouse experience; prior lead or supervisory experience preferred
• Strong organizational and communication skills
• Ability to lead by example and work in a fast-paced environment
• Basic computer skills and experience with warehouse systems or scanners
• Forklift certification preferred (or willingness to obtain)
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand/walk for extended periods
