Job Opening: RJO – Press Brake Operator

We’re currently hiring a Press Brake Operators for our client in Sparks, NV. This role is responsible for forming materials per order requirements to meet production schedules and quality standards.

Schedule: Monday–Friday, Morning Shift Pay: $20/hr

Job Responsibilities

• Set up and operate hydraulic press brake equipment for assigned work
• Read and interpret project plans, blueprints, diagrams, and written instructions
• Understand dimensional tolerances and required angles for formed parts
• Calculate bend locations, required tonnage, and appropriate tooling for each part
• Verify all parts are present and correctly formed to specifications; notify management of missing or incorrect components
• Organize the work area before and after processing parts, stacking completed parts properly to avoid double handling
• Keep the production board updated with the status of orders in the Press Brake department
• Detect equipment malfunctions or out-of-tolerance machining and adjust machine within capabilities

Requirements

• Previous experience operating a press brake or similar machinery preferred
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints, diagrams, and written instructions
• Strong mechanical aptitude and understanding of metal forming processes
• Ability to calculate measurements, angles, and tolerances
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
• Ability to stand, bend, and work on your feet for the full shift
• Reliable attendance and punctuality
