Resource MFG is looking for Food Processing Associates in the Warrendale, PA area:

Schedule: Monday–Friday
Hours: 6:00 AM until finished (typically 8–10 hours per day)
Pay: $18.00 per hour

Job Summary

The Fresh Cut Production Associate efficiently processes fresh cut orders for next-day delivery. This role involves cutting, packaging, labeling, and preparing fresh vegetables and other food products while following all food safety and workplace safety rules in cold storage 35-45 degrees.

Key Responsibilities

Ensure the processing room is clean and properly sanitized at the start of each shift
Process fresh cut items and produce based on orders entered into the system
Cut, prepare, and package fresh vegetables and related food products
Create and apply labels for products being shipped
Prepare packaged items for shipment and next-day delivery
Inspect products to ensure quality meets company standards
Follow all safety rules, food safety guidelines, and sanitation procedures
Carry out additional tasks or instructions as assigned by the Manager or Supervisor

Minimum Qualifications

Ability to read, write, and understand English
Basic arithmetic skills
High school diploma or GED equivalent
Physical ability to:
- Lift up to 50lbs
- Bend, squat, push, pull, and stand for long periods
- Work in confined spaces
Ability to safely work with sharp cutting instruments

Preferred Qualifications

Knowledge of fresh produce
Previous experience in a food processing or production facility
