Service and Repair Associate
Job Summary
The Service and Repair Associate supports the manufacturing and quality of medical products by performing inspection, troubleshooting, testing, and repair activities. This role operates multiple processes, identifies defects, and collaborates with Quality to resolve issues while ensuring products are safely prepared for transport. All work is performed in compliance with safety, quality, and process standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Decontaminate, diagnose, test, and repair medical devices
- Perform functional testing, calibration, and basic electronic assembly/disassembly
- Identify and report defects; assist with root cause investigations
- Ensure proper handling, storage, and availability of equipment and materials
- Prepare finished parts for binning and transport
- Follow all company, local, state, and federal safety and quality requirements
Hours:
1st shift: Mon. – Fri. 5am – 1pm.
2nd shift: Mon. – Fri. 1pm – 9pm
3rd shift: Mon. – Fri. 9pm – 5am
Pay:
$17-$18/hr.
Qualifications
- High School diploma, GED, or equivalent work experience preferred
- 1–2 years of related experience preferred
- Knowledge of customer complaint handling and IPC standards a plus
- Ability to learn new processes and work within standard operating procedures
