Job Opening: Press Brake Operator

We’re currently hiring a Press Brake Operator for our client in Sparks, NV. This role is responsible for forming materials per order requirements to meet production schedules and quality standards.

Schedule: Monday–Friday, Morning Shift Pay: $20/hr

Job Responsibilities

• Set up and operate hydraulic press brake equipment for assigned work
• Read and interpret project plans, blueprints, diagrams, and written instructions
• Understand dimensional tolerances and required angles for formed parts
• Calculate bend locations, required tonnage, and appropriate tooling for each part
• Verify all parts are present and correctly formed to specifications; notify management of missing or incorrect components
• Organize the work area before and after processing parts, stacking completed parts properly to avoid double handling
• Keep the production board updated with the status of orders in the Press Brake department
• Detect equipment malfunctions or out-of-tolerance machining and adjust machine within capabilities
• Report all machine malfunctions to management
• Follow all safety guidelines and maintain a clean, organized work environment
• Perform other duties as assigned by the Supervisor/Manager
