Material Handler

Location: Burnsville, MN Schedule: Monday–Friday | 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM Pay Rate: $19.00 per hour Overtime: Mandatory Saturdays as required Employment Type: Temp-to-Hire

Position Overview

We are seeking dependable and detail-oriented Material Handlers to support daily warehouse operations in Burnsville, MN. In this role, you will be responsible for the accurate movement, storage, and tracking of inventory while ensuring a safe and efficient work environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Accurately load and unload trailers and move product throughout the warehouse
• Transfer materials both physically and within warehouse systems
• Pick and pull orders with a high level of accuracy
• Stage orders for shipment and verify quantities and locations
• Read and interpret Warehouse Management System (WMS) instructions
• Identify and report damaged or incorrect product
• Assist with inventory counts and tracking
• Prepare shipping and receiving documentation
• Maintain clean, organized, and safe work areas
• Follow all safety and security procedures
• Perform additional warehouse duties as assigned

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required
• 1+ year of warehouse or material handling experience preferred
• Forklift or powered industrial equipment experience a plus
• Ability to read and follow written and verbal instructions
• Basic math and computer skills (WMS experience preferred)
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs unassisted
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced, high-traffic warehouse environment
• Willingness to work mandatory overtime, including Saturdays
