Air Export Operations Specialist (MAWB Consolidations)

Position Summary

We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Air Export Operations Specialist to manage MAWB consolidations across assigned trade lanes. This role is responsible for overseeing the end-to-end Air Transport Association (ATA) process, ensuring efficient cargo movement, regulatory compliance, and high standards of customer service.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage and process MAWB consolidations for assigned trade lanes, covering all aspects of the ATA process
• Prepare, handle, and validate all documentation required for air export consolidations
• Coordinate bookings with carriers and optimize cargo consolidations for efficiency and cost-effectiveness
• Ensure timely cargo movement and delivery to the airport through continuous communication with warehouse teams and truck dispatch
• Track and trace shipments, monitor status, and proactively address delays or service irregularities
• Collaborate closely with regional air export teams to ensure seamless operational execution
• Maintain accurate and timely updates in reporting tools and operational systems
• Monitor vendor performance and contribute to maintaining strong vendor relationships
• Deliver excellent customer service while ensuring data integrity and quality standards
• Ensure compliance with internal policies, external regulations, and customer-specific requirements
• Support departmental and organizational objectives by meeting key performance indicators (KPIs)

Qualifications and Experience

• Prior operational experience in the air freight industry required
• Experience in one or more of the following environments preferred:
  • Freight forwarder air export gateway operations
  • Airline operations
  • Warehouse operations
  • Ground Handling Agent (GHA) operations
• Strong understanding of air export processes and documentation requirements
• High attention to detail with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
• Strong communication and collaboration skills
