Job Opening: Warehouse Receiver

Monday-Friday 8am-4:30pm, $20 per hour

MUST be able to operate a cherry picker

Duties and Responsibilities

• Operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and other material handling equipment to safely unload shipments from trailers and containers.
• Inspect and record temperatures of all inbound refrigerated and frozen products to ensure compliance with food safety standards.
   
• Log all incoming materials into the Warehouse Management System (WMS) using RF scanners to ensure real-time inventory accuracy.
• Apply identification labels and pallet tags to all received goods before transferring them to their designated storage or staging areas.
• Document and report any shipment discrepancies, such as damages, shortages, or overages, to the procurement department to initiate resolution.
• Coordinate and schedule inbound delivery appointments with freight carriers and suppliers to manage dock traffic and workflow.
• Maintain the cleanliness and organization of the receiving dock and adjacent areas to ensure a safe and efficient workspace.
• Follow all established safety and regulatory protocols, including OSHA, HACCP, and SQF standards, during the receiving process
