Job Opening: Forklift Operator- Reach, Cherry Picker and Sit Down
Description
Prologistix is hiring Forklift Operators in Griffin, GA.
Shift is Sunday – Wednesday 7:30 p.m. – 6 a.m.
Will train for 1 week on 1ST SHIFT 6:30AM-5PM Monday – Thursday
Pay is $19/hr.
Must be able to operate Sit Down, Reach, AND Cherry Picker
You must be comfortable working as a Material Handler off of the equipment, will not always be on lifts.
Duties include, but are not limited to:
- Being a coach-able employee
- Physical ability to lift 50 pounds consistently
- Safely operate forklifts
- Material Handler duties – not always on the forklift
- Load and unload trailers
- Driving in reverse while carrying a load
- Stage product
- Inspection of quality
- Picking orders
- Put-Away’s
- Inventory
- Housekeeping duties
- Other duties as assigned
6 months experience operating all 3 lifts:
- Sit Down
- Cherry Picker
- Reach
Metatarsal boots are required, and Prologistix will purchase up front and deduct in two payroll deductions.
Dress code is warehouse professional:
- Jeans, khakis, Dickies, or shorts (knee-length)
- Plain shirt
- No holes, rips, tears, or fraying in clothing
- No athletic wear to include sweat pants, joggers, leggings
