Lumper Job Responsibilities:

• Unload and load freight. Remove goods from inbound trucks, containers, and prepare outbound shipments for transport, including floor-loaded and palletized freight.
• Sort and organize products and separate items by SKU, lot number, expiration date, or other criteria to maintain inventory accuracy.
• Break down mixed freight, re-palletize, shrink-wrap, and label pallets for storage or shipment.
• Use pallet jacks, hand trucks, and occasionally forklifts safely and efficiently.

Lumper Job Requirements:

• 3 months recent experience working in a distribution center or warehouse a plus
• Able to work 8, 10 or 12 hours shifts
• Able to carry, twist, push, pull products and lift up to 50 lbs
• Able to stand, walk and bend for the entire shift
• Experience working with technology – RF scanners, warehouse computers a plus
• Able to follow written and verbal work instructions
• Able to count accurately
